Queen of the Oranges

Hey everyone!

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving and filled your stomachs properly. I know I did! I don’t know about you, but leftovers are my favorite part! And the pie that lasts for the following 4 days. Yum.

Well if we rewind a little bit, right when I got home from NZ I competed in Miss City of Orange and what do you know?! I’m now the queen of the oranges.

Really though, I am so honored to represent one of my favorite communities this year and serve the city and people of Orange as Miss City of Orange 2016. I’m excited for all the people I will get to meet and fun service projects I will be a part of. I am also looking forward to expanding my platform, “A Life Without Limits: Encouraging Today’s Youth To Set Goals and Dream Big” as I inspire and bring home to children this year. This opportunity is a blessing from God and it’s my intention to give Him all the glory this year.

YOU GUYS. I’m going to MISS CALIFORNIA!!! YAHOOO!! For any of you interested, the pageant will be July 2nd in Fresno CA. I’m also beginning to secure sponsors and sell ad pages, so if you have a business or would like to donate, I would love to promote your company and/or feature you in an ad page in the Miss CA program book!

My first appearance was yesterday at Archie’s Ice Cream. When your first appearance has to do with eating ice cream, you know you’re off to a good start. Especially when your name is Nicole Renard.

Archie’s is a little ice cream shop in Tustin that is dedicated to making everyone feel like a rock star. They make everyone “Archie’s Famous” by showcasing them on their Instagram. Here’s me being “Archie’s Famous”.

If you’re looking to release your inner rock star, you have to check this place out because they are one in a million. Great ice cream, great atmosphere, but most importantly, great people. Thank you Archie’s for kicking my year off as Miss City of Orange with a bang. I will be back soon!
