Hey everyone!
Since Christmas Eve is only 6 days away I thought I would so something fun and post a baking video each day leading up to Christmas. WHAT?! I know, it’s too much excitement. I’m getting the shakes just sitting here typing this.
Today’s video shows you step by step, how to make the beloved Starbuck’s Cranberry Bliss Bars. These bars are so yummy and seem to always sell out during the Christmas season because they are everyone’s favorite!
Now you can make them any time of the year and keep that $4 in your pocket where it likes to be.
Last year when I was baking at Chapman, I blogged this recipe so you can click the link HERE or you can refer to the recipe at the bottom of this post.

Cranberry Bliss Bars
Ingredients:
1 1/2 sticks of butter, softened
1 ¼ cups brown sugar
3 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 ½ cups flour
1 tsp. ground ginger (preferably freshly grated)
½ tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup Craisins
4 oz. white chocolate — coarsely chopped into big chunks (I always use Ghirardelli. Always)
Cream cheese frosting:
4 oz. cream cheese — softened
3 cups powdered sugar
4 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
Garnish:
1/2 cup Craisins (or as many you need to sprinkle on top)
2 oz. white chocolate chips— melted
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat butter and sugar together, and add eggs and vanilla until fluffy. Whisk together flour, ginger, baking powder and salt. Add to the butter mixture until combined. Fold in the cranberries, and chocolate. Spread thick batter in pan and bake for 10 minutes, or until light golden. Cool completely.
Cream the cream cheese, vanilla and lemon juice together until smooth. Add sugar and mix until it’s incorporated, smooth, and spreadable. Transfer to the cake base and spread a thin layer over the cake. Cut into preferred sizes. Sprinkle with the craisins. Using cake decorating bag, baggie, or fork, drizzle the melted white chocolate over the cake.
I hope these bars make you as happy as they make me. Make a batch and then make another for the neighbors! Let’s spread more love and joy this Christmas to reflect how much Christ loves all of us!
Love always,
Nicole #dostuff #bakestuff #merrymerry
