New Zealand is without a doubt one of my favorite places in the world.

I love the fact that you can go surfing and snowboarding in the same day and practically every corner you turn is a filming location from The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.

When I lived in Wellington, I traveled solo to Rotorua, Auckland and Coromandel. I always felt safe traveling alone and traveling within the country is so easy! I also Road Tripped for 10 days through the South Island with some good friends and had the time of my life.

This is an outdoor enthusiast’s DREAM LAND with literally thousands of things to do. Mountains to climb, trails to hike, cities to explore, whatever it may be, I guarantee New Zealand has it. (Even the world’s best ice cream)

The best part of New Zealand however, is the people. The kiwi culture is welcoming, hospitable and never in a hurry. They take pride in their Maori roots and love educating visitors about their culture and way of life.

With friendly locals, stunning scenery and vibrant cities, you should experience New Zealand at least once in your lifetime.

Happy Traveling!
