Hey friends!!
I just got back from the most INCREDIBLE time in Orlando!! I was there primarily for work, but I had to squeeze in some extra time at the end for a little fun because y’all know I can’t go to Orlando without visiting Disney. 😉
When choosing a place to stay, it’s important for me to have a place that’s
1) Comfy and cute
and
2) Close to the parks.
Luckily, the Wyndham International Drive fit the bill PERFECTLY and made my trip that much more enjoyable.
I checked in pretty late after a long day at the parks ready to REST. The staff was so friendly and my room was waiting for me with the comfiest bed and refreshing water bottles. (even the fridge was stocked with extra water which was such a blessing because Orlando is HOT right now.)
Our room had a little patio that overlooked a pond with a water fountain which lead to a walking bridge and THE POOL. HEAVEN.
The Wyndham iDrive is conveniently located right in the middle of the popular International drive, giving you plenty of options of the yummiest restaurants in the city.
It’s also right next to ICON park, one of Orlando’s most popular attractions including a variety of restaurants, desserts, shopping and the famous Orlando Wheel.
I rode The Wheel at night and it was SO COOL. I highly recommend doing that. It’s perfect because if you want to spend a relaxing day at the pool instead of hitting the parks, ICON park is a great option of something to do and super close to the hotel.
The Gatorville Poolside Bar and Grill and sauna were hard to beat, but my favorite part of my experience at Wyndham was coming home to a different animal shaped towel on my bed. It made me so happy and was something I looked forward to each night. Oh, and the wifi is free. 😉
The hotel has a complimentary shuttle service that runs to Universal, Islands of Adventure and SeaWorld which was really nice because I didn’t have a car! They also have a shuttle to the Disney parks for a small charge.
After long, hot days running around the theme parks, having the Wyndham iDrive to come back to and crash, knowing I would be well taken care of was one less thing to worry about and so refreshing.
