Single Serve Apple Crisp

Growing up I always knew the start of fall was when I heard the neighbor knock on our door with a freshly baked apple crisp. She made them every year and we looked forward to that dreamy, yummy smell that would waft through the kitchen after her delivery.

Now, making this dish at the beginning of fall has become one of my favorite traditions. This time however, I wanted to put a little twist on it and give you a personal sized portion. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE making a full pan of this but these single serve options are great if you want a small batch or if you’re hosting a dinner party and looking for a dessert to impress. The best part is, these are SO easy to make and come together quickly. Serve them a la mode and you have a dessert that people will be talking about all season long. Enjoy!!

  • 1/4 cup + 2 Tbs flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tbs sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

For the apples:

  • 2 green apples
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • pinch of salt

  1. Preheat your oven to 350F.
