Carrot Cake Protein Bites

Ingredients:

  • 7 medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/3 cup almond butter
  • 1 scoop vanilla or unflavored protein powder
  • 1 Tbs ground flax seed
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp allspice
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

Directions:

  1. In a food processor, blend dates, almond butter, protein powder, flax seed, vanilla, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ground cloves, and allspice together until combined.
  2. Take the blades out and add oats and carrots and mix in with a spatula. (can also pulse these in the food processor if you prefer)
  3. Using your hands or a cookie scoop, roll out 8 balls.
  4. Store in an air tight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  5. Enjoy!
