I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE!

#DOSTUFF

Now that it’s fall I want all the cozy latte recipes. With Pumpkin Spice always being the rage, I wanted to try something different and an Apple Pie Latte sounded SO yummy to me. So I made it my mission to develop a recipe for Apple Pie Syrup.

I learned that a standard syrup recipe (sugar + water) with apples and spices mixed in was not enough to bring the apple flavor through the latte so I set out again, this time using apple cider and I accidentally grabbed apple cider vinegar… So we tried a third time, this time with APPLE CIDER and reduced it down to condense the apple flavor and infuse it with brown sugar, more apples and warm, cozy spices. It was perfect.

This apple pie syrup is specially formulated to stay smooth and pourable in the fridge, unlike many homemade fruit syrups that turn thick or jam-like once chilled. With a cozy blend of apple cider, brown sugar, and warm spices, it’s the perfect consistency for drizzling into lattes or stirring into iced coffee without any fuss. I hope you ENJOY!!!

Apple Pie Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups apple cider
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup peeled, chopped apple
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch nutmeg & allspice

Directions:

  1. Combine cider, sugar, apple, and spices in a saucepan.
  2. Simmer 10–12 minutes on medium-low until the sugar dissolves and mixture thickens slightly.
  3. (You don’t want it reducing too much — aim for maple syrup consistency while warm.)
  4. Use an immersion blender to blend apples into the syrup. (can skip this step if you don’t have an immersion blender)
  5. Strain out the apple pieces (important for shelf life + smooth texture).
  6. Cool, then store in an airtight jar in the fridge up to 2 weeks.
