One of the most amazing parts of the Miss Washington Program is our partnership with Brotherton Cadillac. Not only do they provide the most beautiful car for me during my year of service but they also let me tag along and work at all their really awesome events… Like Seahawks games.
I’ve heard stories of the 12th man and that our games are the loudest, most spirit filled games in the NFL but I didn’t fully understand it until I was at the game experiencing it in it’s entirety.
Let me tell you, I’ve never felt so proud to be from Washington state and to be part of a community that is so supportive of our football players. I think it’s so exciting that we have something like this to get excited about and rally together and support a team like the Seahawks. Not even to mention how AMAZING the game was!
I arrived at Century Link Stadium at 9am to help set up the Brotherton Photo Booth which required us to drive a GMC Terrain up 4 flights and squeeze it through some double doors and park it in the suite. HOLY MOLY. Thought we were going to die for a minute but we did it. I’m just glad we didn’t have to drive it out!
I was so happy because I finally found an appropriate reason to wear this super comfy silver velvet T-shirt from Live Love Gameday. If you click on that you are going to get lost in a sea of the cutest sports and game day apparel you have ever seen in your entire life.
One of the offensive line coaches Pat Ruel was running up and down the bleachers and stopped to say, “Are you the real Miss Washington?” I told him I was just the fake one, but we got a photo anyway. 😉
That was the most common question of the day so PSA…. I am the REAL Miss Washington. 🙂
I had a blast meeting everyone that came through our Photo Booth, taking crazy pictures with them and learning where they were from. I even got a Seahawks tattoo on my cheek and several Seahawks cookies.
The highlight of my day though was hearing the roar of the crowd and seeing the excitement of the entire arena for our team. That is a visual I will never be able to get out of my head.
Thank you Brotherton Cadillac for making this opportunity possible and so special and thank you Live Love Gameday for helping me look my cutest at my first NFL game.
