You know what stresses me out? Coming to the tail end of an incredible season of life and feeling like once the last page is turned, the story might be over and the book closed forever.
I’ve been in seasons before (kinda feel like I’m in one now) where I think I’ve peaked & believe I’ll never be able to achieve anything greater than what I’ve already accomplished.
As I near the end of my time as Miss Washington, it’s hard for me to look at the end of this season and not go into panic mode because I don’t know what the heck I’m doing with my life & wonder if anything amazing will ever happen again.
Not knowing what the future holds makes us zoom in to the present, because it’s all we can see, making us believe the lie that THIS IS IT!! “This is all I will achieve, and the story is over.” “It’s all downhill from here!”
My insecurities and doubts want me to believe this is the end of the story, but Truth tells me that this was just a paragraph and God’s just getting started.
If you feel like you’ve peaked or you’re at the end of your story, know that God is not done with you. If you’re nearing the end of an incredible season, or just beginning one that feels like Hell, don’t forget it’s just a paragraph of a beautiful story that God will continue to write and fill with the most incredible things that tell of His goodness.
He never gives up, He has good plans for you and He is the best author so if you’re in the thick of it, zoom out and remember it’s not the whole book.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  – Jeremiah 29:11

This necklace from Bomalife is my new favorite. It reminds me of God’s devoted love, like a ring of solid gold.

This amazing Seattle, woman run company has the cutest pieces made with 14K gold and 925 Silver perfect for spring.
