I’ve always been the kind of girl who loved cookie dough more than the finished baked cookie. As a little girl I remember reaching over my moms bowl to snag some dough before they went into the oven and asking if I could lick the bowl before she did the dishes.

Maybe it’s because I’m impatient but I’ve always been a big cookie dough girl and if you’re reading this then you probably are too – in fact, you may have even found my page because of my edible cookie dough recipes on tiktok.

Today I decided to give you a full tutorial on 4 of my favorite recipes so you can make them any time, anywhere. I hope you enjoy!! Let me know in the comments which flavor is your favorite. 🙂 Love you!

Flour WARNING: The reason it’s suggested you NOT eat raw cookie dough actually isn’t because of the raw eggs, it’s the raw flour. Uncooked flour may contain bacteria so when making edible cookie dough its best to heat treat your flour so you can eat your treat worry free. For this just spread your flour onto a baking sheet and bake at 350 for 5 minutes or microwave it for about 20 seconds. Watch your microwave though and don’t burn it!

Chocolate Chip Edible Cookie Dough

 Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/3 cup all purpose flour (heat treated)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips
Directions:
  1. Cream together the butter and sugars until pale and fluffy.
  2. Add the vanilla and milk and mix to combine.
  3. Mix in the flour and salt until combined.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips
  5. Store in an air tight container for up to 1 week or inhale immediately.

Sugar Cookie Edible Cookie Dough

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all purpose flour (heat treated)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 2-3 Tbsp whole milk
Directions:
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Heat treat your flour in the oven on a parchment lined baking sheet for 5 min or microwave for 1 min
  2. Cream the butter and sugar together in a hand mixer or stand mixer until light and fluffy
  3. Add in the flour, vanilla, and 2 Tbsp of milk. Mix on low speed until everything forms into a ball. (if too dry and crumbly, add another Tbsp of milk)
  4. Store in air tight container for up to 1 week or eat that thang up right then and there

Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Edible Cookie Dough

Ingredients: 
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3-4 Tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup flour (heat treated)
  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 mini chocolate chips or chunks
Directions:
  1. Cream together the butter, peanut butter, and sugars
  2. Add in the vanilla and milk and combine thoroughly
  3. Mix in the flour, oats, and salt
  4. Toss in your mini chocolate chips and mix until combined
  5. Store in an air tight container for up to a week or slap that dough right in your pie hole (Chandler wrote that lol)

Triple Chocolate Edible Cookie Dough

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbs milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup flour (heat treated)
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips
Directions:
  1. Cream together the butter and sugars.
  2. Add in the vanilla and milk and combine thoroughly.
  3. Mix in the flour, cocoa, and salt.
  4. Toss in your chocolate chips and mix until combined.
  5. Store in an air tight container for up to a week or eat immediately.
