For about 5 years I’ve been making the same green juice as part of my morning routine. I genuinely love it and something about having the same recipe and routine I can do without thinking when I first wake up makes me feel like I’m doing something right with my life.

However, as I was filming my YouTube video for the week of “What I Eat in a Day” I realized, every single vlog (or morning routine vlog) from the last 5 years shows the same green juice recipe. So for the sake of keeping things fun I thought I would switch it up today and do a different juice. A red juice. ooooo.

This recipe is a Beet, Carrot Orange Juice but I love adding apple, lemon and ginger to give it some sweetness, zing and an extra immunity boost. Play around with the ratios depending on your taste preferences but this juice is so delicious and SO good for you! I hope you love it!

Beet Carrot Orange Juice

Ingredients:

  • 2 small red beets
  • 2 orange carrots
  • 1 orange
  • 1/2 honey crisp apple
  • 1/2 lemon
  • chunk of ginger

Directions:

  1. Cut tops off of beets and carrots, peel orange and lemon and cut everything into small enough chunks to go into your juicer.
  2. Juice all ingredients in a masticating juicer.
  3. Pour over ice and enjoy!

*If you want your juice to be sweeter you can add the whole apple or more oranges

*If using a blender, add some water to help everything blend and then pour it into a cheese cloth and squeeze it out into a bowl or pitcher before serving to remove the pulp.
