This morning I got to see my good friends at FOX10 for an interview about all the girls’ activities in Mobile! I had such a great time with you Cherish!
Then Kathy and I baked German Chocolate Cookies for all the moms and volunteers because we love them so much! (Stay tuned for a blog post with the recipe!) Lunch with the Kiwanis club was delightful and then we were off to downtown where we met with Hargrove Engineering firm. After our visit we decided it was necessary to run across the street and escape life for a moment while we enjoyed gelato and some good girl talk and people watching. I have been hanging out with Kathy Latta and Jessica Barrick a lot lately and have become so aware of their love for life and others. It’s rubbing off on me and every time I am with them I want to be a better person. They truly have hearts of gold.
After the girls’ rehearsal we drove to BlueGill for Dinner on the Delta!
The sunshine quickly turned into a nice downpour and when I say downpour I mean everyone jumped up and ran inside because it was pouring buckets.
This SoCal girl is not used to rain the size of grapes and thunder! But that surely didn’t stop the girls from shining. Soon after the rain stopped we continued on with our dance party and limbo competition.
Everyone is having such a good time! See you all tomorrow for a day of service!
Love always,
Nicole #dostuff #doingalotofstuff
