Kid-Friendly Chicken Nuggets
Tender, golden homemade chicken nuggets made with simple wholesome ingredients and packed with protein and healthy fats. They come together in just minutes, reheat and freeze beautifully, and are a guaranteed win even with the pickiest little eaters. Perfect for toddler meals, lunchboxes, and easy family dinners.

- 1 lb ground chicken
- ¼ cup breadcrumbs (I use Italian )
- ¼ cup unsweetened apple sauce
- 2 Tbs ground flax seed
- 2 Tbs olive oil
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp italian seasoning
- pinch sea salt
Preheat oven to 375℉.
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix until combined. (I just wear a glove and use my hands)
Using a 1 Tbs cookie scoop, scoop out mixture into balls and place on a large baking sheet. Flatten each scoop slightly.
Bake for 9 min and then flip and bake for 8-9 min more until golden and cooked through.
Store in an air tight container in the fridge for up to one week. Enjoy!
