Vanilla Syrup
A simple homemade vanilla syrup made with one cup water, one cup granulated sugar, and one tablespoon real vanilla extract simmered until reduced by fifty percent and smooth. Ready in five minutes, keeps in the fridge for three weeks, and the essential coffee syrup base for lattes, cold brew, iced coffee, and sweet cream cold foam.

- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 Tbs vanilla extract
Combine water and sugar in a medium sauce pot over medium heat and bring to a boil.
Stir every few minutes to keep the sugar from sticking to the bottom.
Once sugar is dissolved and reduced by 50% remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla and let cool.
Transfer to a syrup bottle and enjoy for up to 3 weeks!
