HI! Is anyone like me and LOVE ice cream?! I’m positive I have a magnet in my brain that attracts the nearest ice cream shop in my vicinity because I can’t stay away from it! I think what I love most is something smooth and frozen, which is good because I’ve discovered some healthy alternatives that give the same sweet satisfaction without all the calories and chemicals.
Let me introduce you to nicecream; it’s like ice cream, but nice to your body and it’s SO simple. Really all it is is frozen fruit all blended up and what’s great is that you can customize your nice cream to be perfect for you with your own flavors or toppings! These recipes are certainly on the nice list. đ
Have some bananas going bad? Then these recipes are for YOU! Here are a few ideas to get you started that I have tried and LOVE!

Classic Banana Nicecream
Ingredients
- 1-2 frozen bananas
- cinnamon
DirectionsÂ
- Blend bananas and cinnamon in a vitamix until a thick ice cream forms. You may have to press down with the tamper it comes with but if you add any liquid it won’t be thick as ice cream so I wouldn’t recommend that!
Jazz it up:
Try mixing these things into your banana nicecream for a different twist!
- Peanut Butter
- Chocolate Syrup
- top with berries or Kiwi or your favorite fruit
Peach Pear Nicecream {Great for Post Workout}
Ingredients
- 1 frozen peach
- 1 frozen pear
- 1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
Directions
- Blend ingredients in a vitamix until a thick ice cream forms. You may have to press down with the tamper it comes with but if you add any liquid it won’t be thick as ice cream so I wouldn’t recommend that!
Mango Nicecream
Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup frozen mango

TRY THIS: Top with chia seeds or shredded coconut. Yummy!!
