HELLO my sweet friends!!

How is it already the end of February?!?! This is absolute madness. At the beginning of the year I decided I would be more intentional about taking care of myself and carving out time for rest.

As the #DoStuff girl, I’m not always the best at slowing down, but after almost 2 months of intentionally resting (even if sometimes I have to force myself) I’m noticing more peace, more progress and more productivity!

Before we roll into a new month and spring (eep!! I love spring!) I wanted to share with you my top 5 beauty hacks I’ve been doing on the regular this month that have boosted my confidence and helped me walk out the door with a smile.

It’s hard to be our best when we don’t feel our best so my hope is that these tips will help you feel more refreshed and confident in the beautiful woman you are.

1. Glo Lit Teeth Whitening Kit

It’s so easy to use and doesn’t hurt sensitive teeth. I do it in the mornings while I’m making breakfast because it only takes 8 minutes! 2. Face Mask

Y’all know I love a good face mask. One of my favorite parts of my day is taking off all my makeup and watching a Netflix movie with a face mask. THERE IS NOTHING BETTER. Or I’ll start my day with a face mask while I’m making breakfast (and whitening my teeth lol) Every time is a good time to do a face mask because it refreshes and heals your skin and makes you feel so good. Am I the only one that feels like a new person after a face mask? Okay, I’m done. There are a lot of good ones out there, but I love the YesTo brand from Target!

3. Water

Sounds so simple but it makes SUCH a difference!! Drinking water has given me a bajillion beauty benefits and when I don’t drink enough my body TELLS ME. My skin breaks out, I get sores in my mouth, I faint etc etc. Don’t be a dummy like me and drink water!! It clears up your skin, helps with digestion, gives you energy and keeps you hydrated!! It’s the simplest and cheapest beauty hack in the book.

4. Grande Lash MD 

Tired of getting (and paying for) eyelash extensions? Let me introduce you to GrandeLash MD. This little tube changed my eyelash game. I started putting it on every might before bed and a few weeks later, BAM my eyelashes sprouted out like Jack’s bean stalk. I’m not sure why but I feel 10 times more confident when my eyelashes are popping so if you want to give this a try, here’s a link!

5. Sleep

The term beauty sleep didn’t just come from nowhere. I’ve noticed a significant difference in my mood, energy levels and overall happiness when I get enough sleep as opposed to when I don’t. Sleeping does a million things for your body because it’s working and healing itself while your resting so if you are frustrated by not seeing results at the gym, using pounds of concealer to cover up your bags and find yourself more irritable than usual, try a good ol fashioned snooze. (didn’t take a pic of this one because that’s weird haha!)

I hope these tips were helpful and that if you try a few out they work for you! I’m not beauty blogger by any means but I have noticed a significant change in my confidence by doing these things and I want to help you feel confident too!! The last thing I want to leave you with is reminding you that “looking pretty” and practicing these things isn’t what makes you beautiful. You are beautiful as you are and were made with purpose, these tips are simply things to help you realize that and bring out the best in you.
