I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE!

#DOSTUFF

Five ingredients, fifteen minutes, and a no bake holiday truffle that looks like it came from a fancy candy shop. These sugar cookie truffles are the recipe I reach for every December when I want something that feels really special on a holiday dessert spread without spending hours in the kitchen. Crushed sugar cookies and cream cheese mixed together into the softest, sweetest truffle filling, dipped in white chocolate, and finished with holiday sprinkles before the chocolate sets. Simple, beautiful, and completely irresistible.

The sugar cookie base is what makes these taste like the holidays in a way that chocolate truffles just cannot compete with. You can use raw safe to eat sugar cookie dough or Lofthouse sugar cookies depending on what you have on hand and both work beautifully. Mixed with softened cream cheese and a splash of vanilla the whole thing comes together in about five minutes in a stand mixer or with a hand mixer into this perfectly doughy, creamy filling that tastes exactly like a sugar cookie in truffle form. Ten minutes in the freezer to firm up and they are ready to dip.

The white chocolate dipping process is easier than it looks and the tall glass method is the trick that makes it so simple. Melt your white chocolate wafers in a tall glass in twenty second intervals in the microwave until completely smooth, drop a truffle in, coat it completely, lift it out with a fork, and place it on a parchment lined baking sheet. Add your sprinkles immediately before the chocolate hardens and you have a truffle that looks like it took real skill and actually took about thirty seconds per piece. The whole batch comes together in well under an hour from start to finish.

These sugar cookie truffles are the perfect addition to a holiday cookie box, a dessert table, a neighbor gift, or a cookie exchange where you want to bring something that stands out from the usual lineup. Store them in the fridge for up to a week or the freezer for up to a month which makes them a great make ahead option for the busiest season of the year. Five ingredients, no oven, and a holiday treat that everyone reaches for first. Make a double batch because they go fast.
