Chicken Nugget Stuffed Rolls with Cinnamon Honey Butter

Game day food hits different when it is unexpected and these chicken nugget stuffed rolls with cinnamon honey butter are exactly that. Sweet, savory, buttery, and completely over the top in the best possible way. Texas Roadhouse mini rolls baked until golden and pillowy, a chicken nugget tucked into a hole cut right in the center of each one, brushed with melted butter, drizzled with honey, and finished with that iconic cinnamon glaze that comes right in the package. It sounds wild and it tastes even better than it sounds and everyone at the party will be talking about them.

The Texas Roadhouse rolls are the star of this whole situation and if you have never baked them at home let this be your sign to find them immediately. Thirty minutes in the oven and they come out golden, fluffy, and smelling absolutely incredible. The cinnamon glaze packet that comes in the package is the finishing touch that makes these rolls so iconic and it does double duty here as both a drizzle over the rolls and a dipping sauce situation alongside the honey. Sweet and buttery and warm with cinnamon in a way that pairs with the savory chicken nugget inside in this completely unexpected and completely irresistible combination.

The assembly is the most fun part and it genuinely takes about two minutes once the rolls are out of the oven. Cut a small hole in the center of each roll with a sharp knife or small cookie cutter, brush the tops generously with melted butter, press a chicken nugget into each hole so it sits snugly in the center, and then drizzle honey and the cinnamon glaze over everything. The nugget warms through from the heat of the fresh roll and the whole thing comes together into one perfect bite of sweet, savory, buttery goodness that nobody sees coming.

These are the game day appetizer that get cleared off the tray before halftime every single time. They are easy enough to throw together quickly, impressive enough that people ask how you made them, and completely shareable which is exactly what game day food should be. Make a double batch because one batch will not be enough and you will be very glad you did.
