Chocolate Covered FroYo Fruit Bites (Homemade Tru Fru)
Homemade Tru Fru style chocolate covered froyo fruit bites made with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries clustered on a baking sheet, drizzled with greek yogurt and melted dark chocolate, and frozen until perfectly set. Nutrient dense, naturally sweet, and the most satisfying freezer snack you will keep on hand all summer.
- 1 cup strawberries, finely chopped
- ⅓ cup blueberries
- ⅓ cup raspberries
- ¼ cup plain greek yogurt
- ¼ cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 Tbs coconut oil
Line a baking sheet or cutting board with wax paper.
Place chopped strawberries in clusters on the wax paper (mine made about 6)
Add a few blueberries and raspberries or another fruit you want to each cluster.
Put yogurt in a piping bag or ziploc, cut the corner and drizzle each cluster with yogurt.
In a microwave safe dish, melt chocolate chips and coconut oil until smooth. About 30 seconds.
Using a spoon, drizzle the chocolate over the berry and yogurt clusters. This part does not have to be perfect, the messier the better!
Freeze for 2 hours or until yogurt and berries are fully frozen.
Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Enjoy!
