Sugar Cookie Chai Latte
A cozy homemade sugar cookie chai latte made with a two ingredient sugar cookie syrup flavored with vanilla and almond extract, chai concentrate, and warm milk. Ready in five minutes, can be made hot or iced, and the syrup keeps in the fridge for two weeks. The most festive holiday latte that tastes exactly like a Christmas sugar cookie in every sip.

For the Sugar Cookie Syrup:
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp almond extract
- pinch of salt
For the Drink:
- 1 Tbs sugar cookie syrup
- ½ cup chai tea concentrate
- ½ cup whole milk or milk of choice
- optional: whip cream and a cookie
For the Syrup:
Add water + sugar to a small pot.
Heat over medium, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla, almond extract, and a pinch of salt.
Let cool, then store in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
For the Drink:
Pour sugar cookie syrup into a mug.
Pour chai tea and milk into a microwave safe measuring cup and heat for 1 min to 90 seconds.
Pour over syrup and top with whip cream. Enjoy!
