Go Go Green Smoothie

Greetings!! Are you a breakfast person? I certainly am but I know people who don’t like to eat first thing in the morning. That’s totally cool, but you should be sure to have at least something so your body can get off to the right start and you can be energized for your day.

This smoothie is a great option for someone who doesn’t want to “eat”. It’s packed with protein to keep you full, veggies (huh? yes) and a little bit of fat to get your brain working. It’s my favorite smoothie to make and if I close my eyes and pretend I’m on the beach in Fiji, it’s like the best thing ever. Wanna see what I mean?

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of mango
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup of spinach
  • 2 0z avocado (about half)
  • 1 Tbs. almond butter
  • 1 Tbs. of chia seeds
  • 1/2 scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1 cup of Unsweetened Almond Milk or water

Directions

  1. Blend everything together in a vitamix and pour in a GIANT glass or jar and drink up!
